Racing originated in 2000 in North Platte, NE by Colby and Dusty Kostman
with the concept of selling quality parts at affordable prices. As racers
themselves they knew quality parts and service at affordable prices were
hard to come by. C&D Racing began racing the IATVHSS in April 2004
and has been hooked ever since. The decision to relocate in Omaha, NE
came about in January 2005.
Although C&D Racing is a smaller shop, they offer a
wide variety of services. These services include: revalving and repairing
most brands of shocks, cylinder boring, crank rebuild and balancing, cylinder
head porting, 3 angle valve and seat cutting, big bore and stroked crank
installation, building extreme motors for the dunes and the drag strip,
customizing machines for both xc and mx, right down to the standard service
needs such as oil changes and tune ups.
C&D Racing installs and tunes alcohol and nitrous systems as well
as converts ATV’s to burn E85 fuel. A full chassis dyno was recently
added to aid in the tuning of high performance motors that are built in
house, and to help diagnose any engine or chassis performance issues customers
may have.
Colby and Dusty are both avid racers and ATV enthusiasts.
They are able to provide quality customer service and parts knowledge
because most of the products they sell, they use themselves on a regular
basis. They are always willing to listen, as a customer provides feedback
on the pros and cons of a product they have used themselves.
C&D Racing also works closely with ATV manufactures and aftermarket
parts suppliers to help make the ATVs and parts you buy even better. This
close relationship with these companies allows them to be up to date on
industry changes and new technology before they’re ever released
to the consumer. They have also been working closely behind the scenes
trying to keep existing riding areas open and helping to develop new OHV
areas by serving on the board of directors for the Nebraska Off Highway
Vehicle Association since 2001 and have been active members of the River
Valley Trail Riders in Council Bluffs, IA since moving to the area in
2005.
C&D Racing has also made an effort to give back to the racers by developing
and running contingency programs with companies such as TI Lube, Rekluse,
Klotz and ITP. These programs were all designed to reward racers for their
accomplishments while using these companies products. In the future they
hope to continue to grow with these programs and develop new ones.
If you don’t know by now C&D Racing is also a vendor at all
the IATVHSS races and they bring products such as race fuel, kill switches,
lubricants, hand guards, tires, brake pads, grips, cables, gloves, air
filters, sparkplugs, goggles, and ect. You can also call them before any
race and they can deliver your product purchase or have it shipped to
you.
